There’s one thing I wanted to bring up regarding ARO pieces with MSV: They are a decent deterrent for smoke. If you have a MSV-unit with Suppressive fire set up to cover an important fire lane, there is very little the enemy can do to get units through that zone:
Camo doesn’t work, smoke doesn’t work either and Suppressive Fire adds a -3 Mod on top on any cover you are likely to have. I’ve found my HMG Hsien to be a rather effective ARO piece, despite his high cost and he can become active the next turn, so you can bring those points to bear with your own orders. He might get killed in your reactive turn, but he is rather bulky, especially with those MODs.
